Second update of the 2008/2009 Annual Report following the merger with the American audit firm Weiser, in March 2010

In March 2010, Mazars welcomes Weiser, a New York-based audit and consulting firm which is well-established in the North East of the United States, within its international integrated partnership as a natural evolution of a 10 year common history via a joint venture agreement.

Patrick de Cambourg, Chairman and CEO of Mazars and Douglas A. Phillips, Chairman of Weiser, decided to go further and fully merge the two entities to better serve their clients across the world.
“The American market is, for our profession, one of the most important and, undoubtedly, one of the most complex markets in the world due to its legal and regulatory environment. We have, today a solid experience in this market, particularly with Weiser”, says Patrick de Cambourg.
We issued a second Update to the 2008 / 2009 Mazars Annual Report that presents this major event and other recent international developments:

  • the integration of Pakistan as part of Mazars' approach to emerging markets
  • and two new correspondent agreements with Greece and Kenya.

Mazars now has offices in 56 countries, served by 12,500 professionals, including more than 680 partners.
